The shortage of skilled workers poses major challenges for many companies – at the same time, recruiting international specialists offers valuable opportunities to overcome this bottleneck and tap into new potential! 📈
Under the title “Attracting and Integrating Skilled Workers from Abroad,” we cordially invite you to the Skilled Workers Forum on May 22nd, hosted by the Welcome Center Baden-Württemberg, the Welcome Center Technology Region Karlsruhe, the Karlsruhe Economic Development Agency, AOK Baden-Württemberg, and RaumFabrik Durlach. Together with experts from business, administration, and practice, we would like to explore key questions surrounding the international recruitment of skilled workers:
▪️ How do I find suitable skilled workers from abroad?
▪️ What legal and organizational framework conditions must be observed?
▪️ How can successful integration into the company and the social environment be achieved?
The forum offers not only valuable information and best practice examples, but also the opportunity for cross-company exchange and direct contact with relevant stakeholders. Personal contacts from the organizing institutions, as well as the Federal Office for Migration and Refugees, the Karlsruhe Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Karlsruhe Chamber of Skilled Crafts, the Karlsruhe-Rastatt Employment Agency, and the Baden-Württemberg Cooperative State University, will be available on-site.

The RaumFabrikLauf is entering its second round! On July 10, it’s time again: lace up your running shoes, show team spirit, and do good together! 👟 ✨
Following last year’s successful launch, the second RaumFabrikLauf – our athletic and social corporate challenge for equal opportunities – is about to begin. What’s special about it: It’s a relay race for teams of four, where participants complete as many laps as possible in 90 minutes. Whether you’re an athlete or a casual jogger – team spirit counts here, not personal bests! 🏃♀️ 🏃
Under the motto “Do good for yourself and for others,” the run supports two great projects:
💙 Future Champs – to provide scholarships to sports talents from developing countries
